Anti-UV Masterbatch

Anti-UV additive protects plastics from the damaging effects of sunlight exposure.

Prolonged UV exposure causes plastics to degrade, discolor, and lose mechanical strength — a major concern for outdoor products like automotive parts, construction materials, and agricultural films. Anti-UV additive works by absorbing or scattering UV rays before they can penetrate and break down the polymer structure. It can be compounded into the resin during production or applied as a surface coating.

Available in both organic and inorganic forms, the right additive depends on the resin type, required protection level, material thickness, and expected UV exposure.
